You have already taken so much, < !signature-->You took my unborn daughter, She never ever knew me, Never felt my loving touch. You've taken friends and family, A beloved uncle of mine, Now you threaten to take my Dad, Haven't I already served my time? You keep coming back, To shatter my fragile cocoon, You'll probably take someone else, Before the next full moon. What did I do to deserve this? Why single out me? I found myself, found happiness, Why can't you leave me be? I survived all previous hard times, And for that I'm a better soul, I don't need any more improving, But again you want to take control. Am I doomed to live this unhappiness, Over and over again, Who will you take next, My son, my husband, my friend? I've only just survived my past, The last 3 years so hard, Perhaps you will not rest, Until I am in that graveyard. Such short lived happiness, Another vicious stab, But I'm here to tell you this, You won't succeed in your grab. I'll always be here, I'll fight back hard and longer, For those in my life that I love, Of them I couldn't be fonder. You may knock me down, But I can promise you this, You won't succeed this time, You won't steal my moments of bliss. With all the powers of love in my heart, I shall live to battle another day, You will never win here with me, Go find someone else and make them pay. May the world hug you today, With it's warmth and love.
