Destiny, I thought was a good thing, you know bring two hearts together just because, some storybook, Cinderella, fairy godmother phase, It could be, in the right situation, for example when placed in the hands of good people, or when caught offguard by two individuals shot by cupids arrow... What if it was your destiny to live life alone, shot by cupid's arrow, but the tip was emersed in poison, or found in the hands of a good person gone bad, Destiny can be a curse... "Give destiny a chance..." but when has destiny gave a chance to someone like me, "Give destiny credit for bringing him to you..." but why did destiny take him away, Why must it be destiny's fault, Why must destiny be the one to blame, But tell me why must destiny play me like a game... Two hearts that grew so close, was that destiny's plan... Two hearts that became four, was THAT destiny's plan... Would love be easier if this question was asked, are you my destiny... better yet would life be easier, if that question was asked... Destiny can be either, depends on how destiny affected you, Destiny can make you say I love you, but on the flipside it can make you say I hate you, Destiny may be someones dream come true, but why did destiny turn into a nightmare, and left me alone and blue. |

HI "ill_tactics"...and welcome to Passions, nice to have you here!! this poems is very well written and perfect for here at DP. You express many emotions and make a good statement...we do tend to always think of "Destiny" as a positive thing..but you give good thought to the flip side of that. Welcome to the dark forum ill tactics!! Thanks for getting into the responsing so quickly!! Destiny can sometimes deal a mean hand. I too like how you looked at the flip side/tarnished side of the coin of destiny. Great work  At night the moon became a face, I met the spirit of life, the spirit of love and music. Yes, welcome to DP. I feel Destiny has done the same for me. And it keeps getting harder and harder. You did pose a great point of view. looking forward to more. Something has to change. An undeniable dilemma. But I am not a burden anyone should bear. -Tool- |

Welcome - from one new member to another. Great poem - destiny certainly isn't all good, even if it only takes the credit for the good stuff. Not the most comforting thought - but then that is what Dark Passions is all about. |
