I feel its breath light on my neck
singeing the hairs resideing there
I double time the race drawing away
A pace further ahead of the dread

It catches again though run fast as i can
i fall slowely into it den
i am sinking its cave of sin
where all who come are lost within

My life force ends as time bends
to the lair of the beast there is no end
And i am alone in the darkness again
All hope is gone tomorrow is nolonger a friend

Pride of place in the human race goes to one without a trace,
of subtlety style ego or grace for this position, I wish to say, i would be proud as i am greater than any other face in the crowd

makes me think about love as a whole.  its kinda a beast, well, in my experiences anyways.  its draws you in and then it bites your head off.  well written!!  well said!!

"...we were born before the wind...also younger than the sun...
and my heart you have won...as we sailed into the mystic...
I just want to rock your gypsy soul-
just like in the days of old...
and together we will float-into the mystic...

All hope is gone, tomorrow no longer a friend.
Love those lines Walter.  Great imagery

At night the moon became a face,
I met the spirit of life,
the spirit of love and music. And I am better for it.

Yes I can relate to this poem very well. This poem has a lot of feeling and I enhoy the meaning behind it. For being the first poem I have read of yours I must say it's great!
