BOREDOM

It fills my mind
and yet,
nothing is there.
It sweeps through
a sleepy little town
like mine.
A lazy summer day drifts by
until night comes,
and yet another
Dream haunts me.

Do not shed a tear for me. I am happy, so be happy also.

Never lose hope, for even the darkest nights have ends. ~Cloud ^_^

I can relate, oh boy I can relate.  Well written

Let your heart guide you. It whispers, so listen closely.

very good Devin..you put a lot of imagery in one small poem. I feel like this often too...too bored...and too bored to do anything about it...smile
take care janet marie

take your time...there will be another...
and dont make the same mistake twice...
unless you can pay the price...

I understand this feeling way too much!! I never could discribe boredom in words other than boredom.
