THE DATE

Tonight I went out with another man.
He kissed my lips.
I held his hand.

He brought me flowers, like you used to do.
And all through the night I dreamed of you.

I dreamed we were strolling, hand in hand,
along the beach, on the sand.

You kissed my lips.
I held your hand.

You gave me flowers.....and a wedding band.

the difficulties of letting go. well done!

Something has to change. An undeniable dilemma. But I am not a burden anyone should bear.

"...she said I dont know if I've ever been good enough...I'm a little bit rusty...and I feel like my head is caving in,
and I dont know if I've ever been really loved- by a hand thats touched me, and I feel like somethings gonna give...and I'm a little bit angry...
Well...this aint over..NO not yet...not while I still need you around"...
