Love? Is love just a feeling? Some may say yes, And technically speaking it is, But love is so much more, It has a mind of it's own, It is alive, It burns inside untill you let it out, And then it just keeps on going, We all love love, But when it tricks us we dispise it, We mock it And never want to love again, Love isn't just a feeling, Love takes you over, It controls your every move, You can't help but be happy or sad, Love does what it wants to do And there's no stopping it! by Bronx Be careful! It's a jungle out there! |

Sorry, this has gotta be the fifth time I've read this and I'm just now replying. I guess I didn't before because it was so good it reminded me of some stuff I didn't really want to think of, and some stuff that happened a long time ago. But I guess what I'm trying to say is that your poem is so good that it made me think of past loves...and current ones, too. And some loves, no matter how hard you try, don't go away. Love isn't just a feeling, you're right, it is our master. It commands and we obey. If we could live without it, maybe we would know some sort of peace. But we would be empty. Dark, shuttered rooms. Without love, we would truly be dead. |

this is so good Bronx, ah yes...the things we do for love... it can make us desperately happy or sad...and sometimes JUST desperate... but we will alway crave and seek it. janet marie Some things cannot be explained by verses that rhyme, They are not measured by the commitment of time.
