             WALKING ALONE...
In the darkest hour...of your darkest night...
In your fleeting moments...of your shortest days...
In your quietest moments...of your silent prayers...
in your every step...of the nosiest streets
In your deepest sorrow..of your dearest loss...
when  you reach above...when you stretch too far...
In the anxious moments...of your dreams come true
In your sudden horror...on those lonely paths...
In the longest hour... of your longest night...
In the heaviest steps ..of your thoughest roads...
In your every laughter ....of your happiest moment
I'll be with you...always...
We don't talk about it but ...somebody knows..
When you open your eyes ... and the sunlight's gone...
you'll know it's not easy...but you're not walking alone...walking alone

Avanti,
this poem is SO very good...I was moved by its expressions...
"cause we dont talk about it but...somebody knows"...excellent.
Welcome to Passions..another new talented friend comes in...take care...janet marie

Some things cannot be explained by verses that rhyme,
They are not measured by the commitment of time.
Some emotions run too deep to be described by words,
Forgiveness and understanding-
remain the most beautiful words ever heard.

Welcome to our family of friends.
Avanti, I loved this, poetic wisdom I'd call it.  You offered up and shared all these feelings with us, well done!!

Let your heart guide you. It whispers, so listen closely.

Very good Post Avanti

So very close, going to send it as an ecard!

Great Job

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, not the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship."

Great poem!  I was surprised to see that some of the comments were welcoming you to DP, but I'm not surprised that it's still up here!  Great job.
