Yep you guessed it!  This is not a poem but a reminder.
We have so many new members and new postings but we aren't responding enough, two or three responses isn't enough.  It is not encouraging.
Some of us only post, and don't respond etc.
So PLEASE I am asking you all to respond to others works, and hopefully they will do the same for you.

PLEASE EVERYONE,THE RESPONDING HELPS US ALL.  YOU ALMOST REACH THE POINT OF WONDERING WHY BOTHER?
BUT IT TRULY MAKES A DIFFERENCE.

Hope you all read this and respond to this as well
Isis

isis: i dont post here, but i do read a lot of the stuff... i'd be glad to respond to what i can... let me know if i become a nuisance or something...

sincerely,
jerome the boy with no soul

As e'er beneath a waning moon was haunted
By woman wailing for her demon-lover!

I agree Isis. It's a great feeling when somebody responds to your work. I do post responses to the works I have read, I love them all. But I know I could do more. So, I'll make you and everybody else this promise. For every work that I post, I will read and respond to at least 3 (if not more) of other peoples works because I know how good it feels when I see that some one had read my work.

I am fairly new here and I saw this post by Isis and I wanted to take this opportunity to say how amazing everyone has been here. I am so touched by the encouragement and kindness I have been showered with. You all have something very special here, both talent and respect. You should be very proud of the work here. Your efforts have created this wondeful place where we can share...and inspire each other. Thank you to all.Take care...Janet Marie

Thanks Janet Marie, GA Webb and JJ.  As new family members you can already see how important the responding is, the older members forget or are too rushed to reply enough.  We need to do more than just welcome newies and then slack off in responding everywhere else.
GAW I try to do as you do for every posting (new poem) you respond to 3 - 5 others.  Then for yourself you know you are being fair towards all.
Thanks

ahhhhh Isis I think I do respond quite well LOL  I come in here somtimes to just respond and I suggest others to do so!!  Hey you might not want to post somthing but that doesnt mean you cant come in and respond.  Resonding to others is a great part of writing poetry all.  You can learn so much more about yourself from just reading.  So Isis I promise to respond as often as I can.  K HUN!!!  oh yeah Isis we need to keep this on top so people will read this k. I'll help!

Alrighty than Isis I just finished doing my part...I moved lots of poets to the top and they will know who they are.  I know that if I don't get any response to my writing I figure nobody liked it, obviously I liked it because I wrote it and was satisfied with the final product so I posted it.   Yet if I am the only one that enjoys what I write why bother posting?  I have been sad when few responded and I have been very happy when I got lots of responses.  To me five is a lot.
This is a good time to thank everyone for appreciating my writing.   Thank you,  James

I rarely have to time to get in here but when I do I try to respond to those that I get to.  I would also like to say that I love getting responses.  It makes my day!  So thanks to anyone and everyone that ever or has responded!  It truly leaves an impression.

Isis- I agree with the need for this reminder. I being a big responder myself. I would think many poets do post to get the responses. And when there are so few it is disheartening. I haven't been on for awhile (been quite "under the weather") but i look forward to geeting caught up. I see with all the new additions I have my work cut out for me. So do not fear! The number of responses shall rise! LOL! < !signature-->

Something has to change. An undeniable dilemma. But I am not a burden anyone should bear.
