Despair.
A swirling vortex of hatred
A bottomless pit of pain
An earsplitting eruption of violence
A sweltering flame of ignorance
A razor sharp blade of humanity
Despair.

hathor,
I love the power in this...so much said in so few words. Excellent read here and welcome to Dark Passions.

Welcome again Hathor.  Liked this first poem a lot, especially the line ' a sweltering flame of ignorance'.  Looking forward to your next offering already

Excellent use of metaphor.
I enjoyed this much
