A dark shadow settles apon my soul I look down at you, in my arms Grasping your last breath of life we speak For I have bestowed my evils on you Now where are we? The tides of time ebb and flow But still time stands still for us. The tears come as I watch you leave me Like the setting of the sun you go Lingering untill all the light has left The candle that was once lit lies dormant Gone with the passing of the night And I have cast this apon your soul, I know But now I must live a life without hope Without love Without you |

Very touching DayDreamer...beautiful and yet it expresses dark and sorrowful emotions. *sigh* I can relate to this...and it brought back some things....very moving indeed.
