Looking down on creation
Of prosimian evolving to man
Learning of the frustration
As the garden's growth began

Bipedal's roam the land
Teaching of Sheol
These new creatures only demand
To live to see tomorrow

All this time he watched from above
Learning to hate
While learning to love
As he told himself, "His plan is nothing at this rate"

People, as they were called by Him
Hadn't knowing of fault
Or knowing of sin
All they knew was what was taught

Lucifer looked down horrified
Watching these people digging a hole
One of the elders had died
Lucifer watched them pray to his soul

He approached the Creator and hollered deep within
What were you thinking to give them such a prize
I thought murder was bad but not like this sin!
What? Now they see souls? Through mortal eyes!!
I hate what your doing, Your showing them lies!

He replied, Walk on this canvas and look around
Don't make any miracles or an angelic sound
Just look around and tell me what you see
You will see a glorious creation working within me

After spending 100 days upon the earth
He met a girl who was extremely gorgeous
The feelings in man which stirreth
Made the angelic man fall for Sinfulbliss

One night of ecstacy turned out to be death
When god saw this he cursed the angel on sight
Take your last angelic breath
I condemn you from heaven, your burning sin is too bright

Lucifer cried for a 100 days to see god's face
I don't love me, I love your human race!
Give me one more chance to prove to you what its like
Come down and try it yourself, i know that you just might

Lucifer traveled for a thousand years
Upon a wretched place we call home
Here he cried a many tears
Wanting again to see God's thrown

As he passed through the Great City
He hard of a man named Yahweh
The man, For days and nights summed to forty
The lamb prayed to Father for another way

Lucifer traveled to the desert to look for this man
He noticed a person hunched over about to be dead
He saw it was GOD as human, Lucifer only ran
Father your starving. Here turn this stone into bread

Jesus replied, Don't tempt me Satan, I took your advice
I became flesh, but not thorugh my powers, through a human father
I was born in a stable infested by fleas, ticks, and mice.
Lucifer said, Your thirsty, flow from this stone, water.

You stupid angel! No wonder I cast you down.
Dont you see the devils, the atheist everywhere?
Don't you see them running through town?
Im here as a sacrifice my innocence to bear.

I'll die for all the sins of this earth
And then I'll be their servant king
Give hope to a sinful child at birth
So mortal's can hear angels sing

Jesus don't do this! Look all around.
We are on the highest hill of which we can stand.
You could be the king of every city, of every town.
Yet you were born as a mortal, and die as a god.

I die knowing where i go
Will i feel any pain
I know Father will not make it so
This is my plan, where God's thrown will reign!

You die as a god?!
What kind of sacrifice might that be?
Your body will decay to sod.
And all your followers will see.

Oh there your wrong, Memnoch, there your so wrong
After three days i rise from the tomb
Defeating sin and decay all the while long
You will see, the time is soon.

10 days passed, the day of judgement
A cross bears his name
Yet few know what it meant
A criminal to them it was all the same

An earthquake? is that all you can do?
Oh you man of so many surprises. Raise the dead?
I call you a fool!
You died as a god, not feeling mortal pain, just like you said.

Three days later he lived up to what he said
After fighting with me
He raised from the dead
Lucifer hollered, You hide from the mortals the truth, What they should see!

I CAST YOU DOWN SATAN!
To the abyss where you belong
You'll live with the other heathens
Heaven will never hear your song.

Lucifer remains in hell to teach the sinfull souls
Of God's thrown, of his heaven.
A place he used to call "home"
Every day Lucifer dreamed of the wonderful number seven.

I've always been looked at as being the bad one
If only I would've kept my mouth shut
If only I left it all alone
Now im stuck in Hell where every soul digs a deeper rut

Now you know the true story
The story why i was cast down
I saw God's true glory
Died as a god, born a baby in bethlehem town

Note: Im not an atheist or anything, just my viewpoint on this subject. Hope i didnt offend anyone.

****Alot of the numbers and names are symbolic

Yahweh  - Hebrew for Jesus
7       - symbolic for Christ
6 - Symbolic for Satan
Memnoch - Satan
Lucifer - Satan

Indeed an interesting theory.  I really enjoyed it, you have the story teller in you.
I don't mind the lengthy read either.  Well done CA

Let me first say there is no way you are atheist!! Because you think of heaven and hell.  As for the story you said, and did so well, there may be truth to it but who and why will know?< !signature-->

dreemr - The way I heard it told, through Lucifer's perspective, was in Anne Rice's Memnoch the Devil. An extroadinary book. It inspired me to write this poem. Tahnks for the repy. Always Appreciated

Wow,very impressive.  You have recast Lucifer's perspective very well.  Milton must be smiling somewhere.

I'm not sure this will make sense, but the way you have created new possibilities with this important tale makes me think of it somewhat as some science fiction storys play with time and events, things happening flash forward and flashback, challenging our understanding of Lucifer's role and where the fall and sin occur.  Intriguing.
