To begin
A face of stone
This way of life
I've come to known

Grasping on
Something bleeds
Holding on
Forget my needs

It's you my friend
begin to fall
My brother dear
One for all

They told us this
The pain we felt
We'd come to know

I wait silent
My eyes alert
My body aches
My spirit hurt

Thirsting on
My bitter tears
I dream of home
Subside my fears

Given mercy
I hear your cry
You gave me all
I need to fly.....

Thankyou

Arcadia what lovely words for us all to share.
Here we can all speak and our spirits can indeed fly.
Glad we offer comfort to you as Passions does for most of us.
You need not be so lonely now, you can journey with us as we discover our writings and ourselves.
Thanks for the tribute ((HUGS)) and know you can email myself anytime, if you need or want to talk.

Let your heart guide you. It whispers, so listen closely.

I myself haven't been on or posted for a few days. So you may not know me, but I came across this, thought it was beautiful and had to comment. This is indeed a comforting place. And it is a pleasure to see more and more people coming here and finding a place to set themselves free. I look forward to more of your writings.

I really appreciate this in all its ways...... Let me tell a story:  You are why (the marines) we can even express ourselves!!!  And again thank you from all of us AMERICANS who know what you do!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Arcadia,
I enjoyed your poem.  I have a son in the Army in Germany and I live in Hawaii and we are both far from our home.   I try to fly back to California at least twice a year to visit my family and friends.  Although this  is my home I look forward to those trips cause my real home will always be where my family is.   James

An art is always more appreciated when their are those who will read respect and share

These are the words that we all follow and believe

Arcadia,
Lovely words
soar from a soul that flies with
the forever free birds.

Awaiting more...

Just promise you'll live hard. Get everything you can out of everyday. Don't ever regret anything you do.

And NEVER, I mean NEVER take any prisoners. They slow you down and their no fun to have with you on a date.

Best Wishes
