Just as the brush is to the canvass,
The knife was to my body.

Carving narrow gouges into the mangled,
and missused flesh.
Spilling droplets of life upon the linolium,
Swimming in my very existance.
Screaming muffled cries as it all goes away,
Whining and dying and hating.
Hating my shells existance until a hand grasped me,
A hand of beuty and love.
The hand of one like me, one who also was a canvass,
One who made me feel love.
Now both knives are sheathed forever, and the canvass
,is cleaned of scars and restreached, for life.

Azrael, I really liked this and I'm glad you contained the graphicness of it, it's appreciated.  Missed you round here my friend
