Women of beauty tear down men of words.
The call of duty rips hearts asunder.
Fragments of shattered men scatter like birds.
Broken hearts of men, they treat as plunder.

The call of duty rips hearts asunder.
Honor is ground under stilletto heels.
Broken hearts of men, they treat as plunder.
Deaf ears are turned upon lovesick appeals.

Honor is ground under stilletto heels.
Succubi hide behind crosses of God.
Deaf ears are turned upon lovesick appeals.
These unholy women spare not the rod.

Succubi hide behind crosses of God.
On their belly, love demands that men crawl.
These unholy women spare not the rod.
They debase the men they cannot enthrall.

On their belly, love demands that men crawl.
Each soul is fragile as crystal snowflakes.
They debase the men they cannot enthrall.
No forgiveness is given for mistakes.

Each soul is fragile as crystal snowflakes.
Fragments of shattered men scatter like birds.
No forgiveness is given for mistakes.
Women of beauty tear down men of words.

Thank you, I truly needed that. The same applies to some men of course, as well as some women.< !signature-->

Scott,
I can only pray that one day you'll have a wonderful, beautiful woman in your life as I do mine.  It is obvious you have been scarred somehow in your past.  In Gennifer, I know I am blessed, she is loving, loyal and compassionate, in this lies her true beauty.  I wrote you a response poem to this, it is called "True Beauty", I posted it in open 5 if you care to look.

God Bless you,

Michael

These are powerful words. . . I know your pain all too well DE. . . but in time, Man of Words, you will find one who builds you up. . . and does not take you down. . .

Again your work is excellent. You know, there are all kinds of people in this world. At work there is a girl whose manner is abrasive and demanding. She and I deal with the same people and she complains that they treat her rudely. They do not treat me that way. Perhaps it's because people react to certain treatment..if you are mean to someone, they are mean back!

I know, Scott you will groan at what I'm going to say, so prepare yourself! Perhaps the people who act the way you've described, were ill-treated when they were young...perhaps they saw their mother or father act this way without losing friends or caring that they hurt someone. We are a product of environment to some degree. Children who are abused can more frequently become abusers when they grow up - it's what they learned to do.

I know this should have been posted in the Alley, but I fear not all members go there to read...discussion forums scare some people as they may be afraid of offending. I on the other hand, do not fear offending you Scott. Because we are friends, we can say anything to each other without losing that friendship. I may not like what you say, but I will always be your friend.

Scott my friend I hope that someday you find the woman who treats you differently then you have been treated in the past. I do understand where you come from with this. Once you have been hurt it is hard to love or trust anyone again.   But I'm sure that you will again learn how.

Badly used, burned, beaten down, and scarred by both men and women, still I have found a vibrant and radiant woman (rather, she found me). She is the brightest star in my endless night. She is damned well worth all I have endured to boot.

Even so, only one man died for the sins of another. No one else, woman nor man, can atone for the wrongs committed by another. To that end, those that wrong me are the only ones that can make amends. Time does not heal every wound, some only fester due to neglect and improper handling.

Sometimes decisions are not choices at all, but events forced upon one by nature.

Lastly, I believe that some may have left the title unread. This was merely a catharsis meant to draw out the anti-woman venom that was in me last night. Thank you.

The truth in all its glory.  LOL -- be careful, we women have powerful underground societies that will asassinate you for telling that secret!

Christopher, I think the wrong point was made or at least seen.

Michael, I read it.

Sven, thank you for your words.

Caroline I thank you for that my friend, though I wish it was not so.

Lady DeVine I did not groan.
In truth, I understand that all have their problems.

Terri, been there and done that.

Skyfyre I guess your admission makes you an honest woman then?

pFF I am glad that you acknowledge my talent, yet saddened that you would see yourself in this. It was neither started with you in mind nor even about you specifically.

Venting seems to let the words flow, so I must agree.

Bravo My Friend...
There is nothing quite like this type of woman or man for that matter.

I for one have agonizing trips into the world of catharsis.
I enjoyed to be able to read every word
As always Scott, you write so honestly.
I for one depend upon that
