               AM I

     A yearning to feel
          what it's like to belong
     Having no wish of knowing
          hot right it is, or how wrong.

     Just a thirst
          for anything special
     A continuing disdain
          for everything artificial.

     Do I have a right to these things?
     Am I worthy of them?

     Am I free
          or still trapped in my own convictions?
     Am I good enought
          to deserve my redemption?

     Am I willing
          to be what I was not?
     A person contented
          with what he hasn't got.

     Am I willing to love
          as much as I hated?
     Am I willing to bury
          the apathy I've created?

     Am I willing to accept
          what I can never be?
     A speck of mankind
          but not of humanity.

oooh this is deep. Although we might never achieve fame and fortune, we can live our lives as though we are great. Make our own personal myths and legends.
Don't go along for a ride, create the legends..

Reach inside your heart, that is the greatest gift you can bestow. Merry Christmas..
