I don't expect too much,
I know this much is true,
But yesterday only revealed the truth,
I won't be happy no matter what I do.

Months of planning,
All gone unheeded,
Months of dreaming,
Nobody needed.

Lots of intentions,
Filled with desire,
Many cogitations,
Burnt out by fire.

They are lost now,
To me, you and them,
No one was thinking,
Yesterday, back then.

Ambitions, anticipation,
Again not worthy of a thought,
Humiliations, frustrations,
Not one consideration was sought.

I was delusional, full of notions,
Alas it was just a fantasy,
I envisioned too much,
And feel so heavily don't you see?

So all those happy thoughts, hopes and dreams,
Are lost to me now,
Only one precious memory,
Will sustain me now.

Isis,
Very sad but maybe you are expecting to much. Try talking with your partner about what you want for the future. Mine was all closed in and would`nt talk.I`t was like she didn`t care. But , once she realised her mistakes and started talking to me ,I`t made me so happy and the positive effect was amazing. Now, with team work ,we are saving for a holiday to Australia.
