Sitting in Michael's Lap

Expansive
Forbidding
The unforgiving void
That mocks me
Beckons …

Perched at the
Brink
In the sphere of oblivion,
Black-on-black
And cold
(so cold)

Face-to-forever
With my own
(insignificance)
Fears dancing, swirling
Before eyes glued open

With disbelief –
So weary of such
A precarious balance
Perhaps
It is better
To
Fall …

You cannot choose the way of your death, but the path you choose will determine its own end.

What else is there to say? Absolutely beautiful. Oh do I know that feeling well as I'm sure many of us do and you expressed it very well.

Sometimes the pain of walking a wire far exceeds the pain of the fall.  Usually it's the fear of not knowing what's at the bottom that makes the fall so scarey.  Gerat imagery, Kess, goo poem.

Great piece...

Perched at the
Brink
In the sphere of oblivion

I had the feeling I was ready to go over.

There's to much confusion, I can't get no relief

Looking out across the void. . . I see the one thing that has escaped me. . . the one thing that I long for. . .

But how do you get across?

Beautiful words my friend. . .

I enjoyed this one alot Kess.
Perhaps it is best to fall.
You aptly describe these feelings
