I know this is a cheery one but I thought I'd post it here rather than the Corner Pub for a change..

You alone have opened my eyes,
You alone have opened the door,
You've taught me to hear the music of my soul,
I've never known feelings like this before.

Only you have reached me,
Only you have taught me,
You opened that sealed door in me,
Only you had the heart to set me free.

You unveiled the evils,
Lifted all my pain from me,
You gave me strength to sing again,
You've done so much for me.

Hands and hearts entwined,
My soul born anew,
Although you'll never know it,
I owe my life to you.

So thankyou for these gifts my love,
I'll have them at least, for I can't have you,
Thankyou my friend and saviour,
Be blessed in all that you do.

Who knows where the road will lead us,
Who knows what's waiting for me and you,
Just know I'll always be here,
Loving and waiting for you...

Oh my goodness, deja vu at it's finest! Only I think you worded it much better than I ever could. But the true feelings are felt! I only hope your love will work out better than mine. Although, I think I'm better off without him and him without me. But anywayz, if this is written because of another soul that has captured your own, I wish you only the best. Great job, Isis!
