The screen looks back at him with icy stare.
He returns its gaze with a wicked smile.
Ghosts in the machine scream, "Mankind beware!"
His sparkling eyes glitter with something vile.

Sensuous fingers caress the keyboard.
Ghosts retreat before his radiant hate.
With technology's growth his spirits soared.
He lets random chat choose who meets their fate.

His words stroke their minds with a golden tongue.
He lifts each ego to the heights of joy.
His power steals the vigor from the young.
Both magick and machine does he employ.

Through cyber-space does he feed on passion.
He drains victims for all he does require.
Empty shells still live after a fashion.
Beware Mankind, of the cyber-vampire!

Well, I must admit, this isn't quite what I expected after reading the title, but it is quite good nonetheless -- where do you come up with these ideas?

I have one question -- is this supposed to be taken literally, as in he is a fiend of Hell, or figuratively, as in a cyber-predator?

And so many have found it is possible to have their life-blood sucked out via the internet...  Good poem, Dream.

I'm with Sven on this one...

Guess garlic and crosses draped around the pc,cannot save one from a fiend of this character
