I miss you when you are not around,
I miss the message of hope,
I miss the feeling of sharing,
God I feel like a dope.

Longing for our sanctuary,
A place of retreat for kindred souls,
The smoke making us one with wisdom and hope,
The candlelight caressing our world.

It's a place to escape to,
To treasure and retreat to,
Knowing I'll be there with you,
Is what my heart holds onto.

I'm waiting there now my friend,
For you to come and join me,
Leave the darkness behind if only for an hour or two,
Rejoice in the contentment we'll find.

What the inner voice says will NOT disappoint the hoping soul.
