This poem is a thank you to my friend Jaguar, a woman who has known and lost love. . . a woman who now seeks love again. . . Jaguar my friend, may you find love again and may your heart always be loved. . . She moves through the heart of darkness With a silence that belies her name. Is she hunter or is she hunted? Matters not, it is all the same. . . She is one with the night Her very body moving with the dark She surveys the landscape with her green eyes To see that it, like her heart, is lonely and stark. She sings her song to any who will hear Her voice a cry to the moon Singing out her lonliness to the world That to her, love will come soon. She comes upon one with outstretched arms To caress and keep her near, He has come not to cage her But to keep her safe from fear. Thank you Jaguar for allowing me to share this with everyone. . . Sven...tis beautiful and elegantly written Jenny Lee Love is an attempt at penetrating another being,But it can only succeed if the surrender is mutual. |
