"Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock," the seconds fade to days and then to months. And with every passing moment, I'm reminded by the Tick Tock... How many errors must one make before calling it experience? I can see the light ahead shines bright for me. I know it shines bright, because I can see it radiate from just beyond the corner. As I near the corner I can feel it's warmth as it engulfs my body, growing warmer with each new step.  Hope swells my head, this time things shall be different. My heart pounds with anticipation like gut wrenching Tongs on a congo drum... "Tuck-Tong, Tuck-Tonggg, Tuck-Tongg." But just when the corner seems near, and the light feels it can't grow any stronger! When I can feel happiness throb uncontrollably through my body with each and every Tongg... As my hand grips the corner, and I make my way around it eagerly awaiting to finally face this bright light that empowers my journey. I see that it has once again slipped behind another corner! My hopes and wishes, once again, shattered to mere broken dreams amongst my feet along this cold deserted street. And once again, I stand myself up high, wipe the travel off my shoulders and slowly make my way to the bright warm light that omits from just beyond the corner. And with every wishful step I take, I hear the "Tick-Tock's" that each passing second makes!

Incredible. I can relate to this quite well. I feel like I'm racing after dreams that I will never catch up to. And with every time I fall, they gain more distance and start to fade. You captured this feeling so well. Great work!

I too feel this way at times, always just out of reach, think I'm there, but alas I'm not.
Bravo!
