Abandoned "Friend"

Where is everybody,
When my tears start to fall?
Where are my "friends"
When I call to them all.

They say they'll be there,
I turn around and they're not.
My heart breaks and I start to cry,
Thinking, "What kind of friends have I got?"

Where are those who love me,
When love is what I need?
They pretend not to hear my cry,
Letting my heart bleed.

I love them,
But, do they love me?
Why, then, do they not hear my plea?

I need a friend who's real,
Not some creep who lies.
I want someone who really cares,
Not ignoring my cries.

Babyblue, I know how you feel. Lately I have felt my friends have been out of touch with me, when I need them most too.

babyblue my friend, thanks for sharing your feelings. Life tends to get away from us sometimes and friends get lost in it. If you do need one, this is the place to find good ones. Email anytime.
