I sit here late, staring at the wall
with no one there whom I can call.

You left me alone long ago
by now, my heart has come to know.

You won't be lieing beside me in bed
it makes me hurt so, inside my head.

No longer I have a hand to touch
feels odd, not knowing Love as much.

I have nothing more to dream
you are no longer there it would seem.

I wish I could look into your eye
feeeling the breath of your sigh.

But now you have gone away
I have no one else this day.

So now I lay down to sleep
knowing my Love... you will not keep.

Your poem brought back a sad chapter in my life, it was as if he left me all over again. Though it's really painful and all, it's one of the most beautiful things that has ever happened to me.

Thanks Jaguar.....at least you know that there was a beauty within that saddened chapter....(I also understand that).

Jenny.....didn't mean to sadden you too much....thanks though for the kind words.
