Behind these bars
They keep my feelings in check

I reach out for you
Knowing you can't come in

My fate was sealed
Even before I knew you

Spirited soul
Mystical soaring roots

Adventures sought
Pleasures bought

Contradiction to expectations
Consumed in my own mania

Vows for all my life
Even before I knew you

My word, my bond, my strife
Free-falling even now

The crime
My thoughts for you

Freebyrd--
Truely it is not a crime to love but to stop love from occuring! I like this...it reminds me of my favorite quote:
"Gravitation can not be held responsible for people falling in love." -Albert Einstein

i'm sorry, it just really reminded me of that quote, great job!!!

Darkness takes many forms pure animal rage

Or loves death told Or loves death hold

They all move in amounts unequal to any other poems

Pride of place in the human race goes to one without a trace,
of subtlety style ego or grace for this position, I wish to say, i would be proud as i am greater than any other face in the crowd
