Rock and roll dreams don't come true, They just surely die, Along with many other dreams I've had, I hang my head and cry. You share my life and my day, I look across at you, And what do I see? A photocopied version of you. I feel like I'm invisible, Something too small to see, I cannot change the course of time, I cannot raise the dead. The palace of redemption is crumbling, All it's walls weak and thin, A lot like me in certain ways, I can see life's evil grin. I lead this way, you pull that, My soul's singing is not imaginary, It's filled with love and inner beauty, A lot like the powers that be. I hope all will see it, And all will come to know, Everything is within your reach, If only you will grow. ------------------ Through poetry my heart and soul truly sing... ~Isis~ (Daughter of Mystery) |

Brilliant poem Don't appreciate meatloaf references as i am a big fan (especialy Objects in the rear view mirror(may appear closer than they are)as this is one of the best lyrical songs i've ever heard big inspiration check it out) ------------------ Pride of place in the human race goes to one without a trace, of subtlety style ego or grace for this position, I wish to say, i would be proud as i am greater than any other face in the crowd |
