Why do you stare
eyes glazed and searchig
looking for love of mercy i know

You try to break throught to me
speak to me show me
thea all is not lost we are friends after all

But you said the hard words the heard words
that hurt me words
you have to pay and you will pay me

Why don't you be quiet? it won't help your tears
it won't hurt for long
so why be afraid?

Should i feel guilty as you gently expire
your blood on the knike edge
my sins set in steel

You should have shut up and stayed shut
you didn't
i had to do it and do it i did

The killer awoke before dawn,
He put his boots on
He took a face from the ancient gallery,
And he walked on down the hall.
