outside a storm rages on,
dark clouds fill the sky.
it is in the trust,
wherein the protection lies.

what is to fear,
things we cannot see.
or just the shadows,
that forever be.

looking out,
searching for the end.
of the thunder and lightning,
only to begin again.

inside a storm rages on,
dark clouds fill my heart.
an emptiness dwells within me,
tearing me apart.

forever i search,
for peace to come inside.
for that silver lining,
so i don't have to hide.

crouched in fear,
not knowing what to do.
looking for that rainbow,
that's found inside of you.

me.

Loved this Mojar. Especially the twist at the end!! I gotta say everytime I read your name it reminds me of 'Mr. Mojo Rising' from the Doors. Just thought I'd tell you that!! Great job.

This is a very sweet poem....the rhyme and rhythm is good...and the ending was just really sweet.....

I too found this site by chance.....what a wonderful day that was.

This is a great read...wonderful work. I can almost hear the thunder echoing in my ears and feel the rain on my face.

Love the ending....
"looking for that rainbow
found inside of you".... beautiful...
just beautiful.
