Don't do this to me!
I know of your pain
That is inflected all over.
That drips like rain.

That stains like blood
On victims and the innocent
Like an infectious, spreading disease
Bringing on the flood!

Please, not to me.
I know it hurts
Digging you out of your hole
Every time you fall face down in the dirt.

Don't do this to me.
Don't spread the disease
The disease of pain,
Sorrow, grief,
And your self inflicted insanity!

I like this one a lot....I can really relate to the last stanza.

Thinking is just what a great many people think they are doing when they are merely rearranging their predjudices.

I too was affected by the last stanza, tis how we all feel, faced with one of life's brutalities. Well done

I've seen this many times in relationships.
Done it to myself. We gotta grow or live with the risk of being kicked to the curb.

EnJOYed the read
