I closed my eyes
And prepared to go,
Celtic visions filled my head,
Did I not say so?

To wait, or seek the medal of womanhood,
My relief a knife thrust,
Short, sweet, painless,
In whom do I trust?

Nothing can compete with silence,
A quality of ignorance,
Time has claimed me,
Is coming for me.

Now I have strayed from the path,
The fields to explore,
New meanings, venues, avenues,
I need only open the door.

Cold feel of steel,
Between my thighs,
Emotional abortion,
Do you hear my cries?

My soul screams too in agony,
The spiritless night,
An endless dream,
World encased in fright.

This is unbridled,
Straight from the dawn of time,
This is my void of nothingness,
But who committed the crime?

Void of nothingness...
so like to me,
shadows in the dark...

I love the word play..
