A lost maple oddball,
hard backed with chew marks
from my old dog.
Saved from a dumpster death
in my poorer days.

By the window it waits
to awkwardly wobble,
in an attempt to rock me
while I sit and weep.

I like this, but I don't see how it fits into Dark Passions?

Very well done, Yoin. A nice melancholy overtone. Welcome to Dark Passions.

Sys, I don't see how you question this piece belonging here. It is Dark and completely futile in nature.
