Death arrives Pink poison quivering And I cannot control my shivering Her smile and touch a memory Forever together...Illusory I fear the loneliness of loss Lying there 'Neath sod and moss Not word nor tune Just silent stilling Not warmth nor love Just silent chilling She'll not return to me it seems 'Cept for dancing through my dreams My beating heart a broken rhyme My heart is lost fore'er to time DB |
