And silence reigned in cyberspace
He loved her words but knew his place
Was home and hearth with wife and child
Only five weeks old, tender, mild

I'm sorry if my words confused
They're the only words I know to use
Please shun me not, I'm penitent
At me your anger please do vent

I beg of you to save your love
And clutch it to your breast, sweet dove
I cannot be your only true
It surely is not because of you

I love your work, and that's the truth
If only we both had our youth
But time is past and can't be had
And now I'm someone little's dad

Again I say, Dear save your love
And gaze up at the stars above
From there may blessings fall on you
And all you love, Your heart is true.
