The vines tangle thickly about my feet
Strangulating my limbs
I can only sputter curses sweet
And aim them right at him
Now they're coiling 'round my waist
Squeezing ever tighter
A look of blood-lust on his face
My head is getting lighter
Eyes bulge wide and bloated tongue
Falls from its gaping maw
I won't last, my song is sung
My screams are getting raw
Tendrils wrap around my head
And leaves cover bloodied eyes
Her lover chuckles, "He's as good as dead."
But I still can hear her sighs...

"But it is inevitable that they will keep changing the doors on you," he said, "because that is what they are for; and the thing is to get used to itand not let it unsettle the mind. But that would mean not jumping, and you can't. Nobody can not jump. There will be no not-jumping. Among rats, perhaps, but among people, never."

"But I can still hear her sighs." now that's an ending! Those sighs will last forever too. Good job, Deep Blue.

DB...this moves like a song of sighs.

There is a fire in your soul.

The sigh - what other human utterance can mean so much, so many different things. Loved the sighing line, and David I can hear the sighing of your soul too.
