The sky is thirty shades of blue
And the fallen leaves rustle a vibrant brown
The clouds are high
The sun is fire
And I've hit zero
With not a clue
Doors are locked
Windows barred
Smash through to get some air
No rain
No snow
Solid mental disturbance
Pain hits hard
Head explodes
Into shards of glass
So, so close...yet
Void

------------------
Mirror, mirror, I confess
I can't escape this, emptiness
No more reason to pretend
Here comes that same old feelin' again
----------------Snowblind

BTW...I have plenty of band-aids

Love is an attempt at penetrating another being,But it can only succeed if the surrender is mutual.

  Powerful words...wonderful Post!

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, not the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship."

Too close to home my friend, I got blown up once, glass and all, and yes the Void does arrive soon.
Very good.

Sometime the void is a good place to rest and draw strength???    well written

 Mystical being
which makes ink flow
Surround me in
your incandescent glow
Fill my brain with
thoughts and rhyme
As I try to capture
but a moment in time
