I'll never see her face again
Perfect, so desired of men
So far gone, so far gone

Sighs slip past my parted lips
A harbor releasing sailing ships
Into an ocean of deep blues

Breathe the fumes or dance on air
Open a vein, see crimson there
My heart's on a dusty shelf

Weep so long my eyes won't tear
The night she left was crisp and clear
My soul-flame has gone out

10/29/99
Just some more rubble. Thanks for listening.

Sometimes we've been hurt so much we simply forget how to cry in the physical sense. Yourds have picked up where the tears left off. Good job.

And after-drunkeness of soul
Succeeds the glory of the bowl -
An idle longing night and day
To dream my very life away
