I was taken aback
by the sudden lack of light
crossing my eyes
Abandonded by my muscle
and left in a state of anxiety
Butterscotch still on my fingers
from past destinations
Entangled in my thoughts
and containing my wrath
Windows to my life
staring up at the ceiling
While the covers on my bed surround me
and are clenched close by my hands
In the dead of night,
I'm wide awake by my unconcious fear
