That place with padded walls and funny people in white.........

Etched in the cold silver of moonlight,
There lies a pair of lovers.
They kiss, caress, undress.
The scent of ecstasy fills the air.

A beast lurks in the nearby woods.
A predator unseen
Sniffs the metallic air
And licks parched lips.

Underbrush breaks under foot, and it runs
With a wild need to murder.
The lovers see a movement
Beyond their world of lust

Eyes wide and mouths agape
They huddle in shock
The beast runs faster
and spittle runs down its chin

The beast screams hatred and fury
While the lovers hug one last time
the woman's milk white skin
Pressed against the mans quivering frame

The beast draws the gun
And he shoot his wife and her lover
His vengeance had,
He the puts the pistol in his mouth

This was never meant to be

Thanks everyone. This is one of the few things I've written that is entirely fictional.

Good job, Sys...the ending really caught me off guard, guess there won't be a sequal here, huh?

Old, old story but fully meated and throaty. You've gotta love this theme. Thanks for your angle, I thoroughly enjoyed this.
