The days rage by
and night closes in.

Standing along a wall
solitary and true.

The mind crushed by
swirls of memories.

Some playful images
many lifeless pictures.

Closing painful thought
behind the doors.

The keys lost
in a fading soul.

Death peaks around
a darkened corner.

It is time to leave.

Thank you for all the replies to this.

Sorry I haven't been around in a few days......had surgery the other day and I am actually able to see the keyboard straight again......all the pain meds they got me on had me a little loopy.
