I fly towards the midnight sun
feeling the blazing darkness
around me.

The white heat floods
my mind and bidy.

My heart skips
and my soul
pulls away.

Across the scattered clouds
I see the years
gone by.

As I step onto
the midnight sun
I feel
cold.
