The moon is dark, the night is long...
Can you hear the siren's song?
She sings a song we long to hear...
She sings of love, and yet we fear...
She sings of love so sweet and pure
She sings to the one that she adores

But she sings in vain, for he cannot hear
She sings in pain, for he is not near
For he was taken from her long long ago
And yet she still can't let him go...

Ripped from her breast, like a newborn babe
Beatened and shackled, made into a slave
Slave to a woman cruel and cold...
Slave to a woman without any soul

But our siren sings on long into the night
In hopes, that her lover, one day still might
Find his way back to her.........

She sings a song we long to hear...
She sings of love and yet we fear...
Her song rings true o'er dale and hill...
It sweetly whispers peace, child, still...

Masterful words from you,T
