SORROW

Ah, it must be Sorrow that appeases-
All we hold true to these saddened lands.
For who could possibly amend to please the
Tear-stained yellows of our own hands.

Cries in anger echo hollow-
Through the vacated streets of Triumph's calls.
Where vengeance swells in decadent cells,
If only honored behind prison walls.

Glory all ye highborn kinsmen,
Go ye, forthwith, share thy love well.
Nary, naught a neighbor burst the chamber,
Where the mightiest man is but pinned to a shell...

And pride, oh yes, thy daunted treasure,
To the purest man, to the tried and true.
If a name is worth mere spit on palms,
What more could your pride mean to you?

Broken chains to a thousand shackles,
A thousand dreams, rolled up dead, on the shore.
Where all is given to a price-
We once would pay, but pay no more.

As Sorrow, sweet Sorrow, slowly displaces-
With mild occursion, all conscious will.
Till the gloomy, agonizing, wisps of mannerisms-
Break the sanity they'd otherwise instill.

Feeling a bit wistful are we, Dark Lord?

You wear each of your facades well my friend.

Another great one, Lord of the Dark.
