adrift at sea
is where I belong
no ship
nor shore
to call my home
I peer through the darkest night
I long to see the reaching light

when all around me
the ocean's roar
fills my heart
my mind, my soul
each wave rising higher
higher still

can I fight this bitter sea
or shall I rest in weary slumber?
