That place with padded walls and funny people in white.........

You let me
You let me do it all
You allowed it
You deserved it anyway
You wanted to lick my wounds
And hide my scars
So don't act victimized
You did it all
The self-destruction
I didn't make you
It's not my fault
If anything it's yours
Do you know how it feels to be accused?
No!
How could you do this to me?
YOU should be begging for MY forgiveness
I don't care if you're sorry
How can I trust you now?
I don't know
Maybe I'll forgive you
But only if you..........

What can I say, Sys, some people need to be victimized...glad you're willing to accomidate the needy. Great piece, love the lingering ending.

Thanks for the replies. Micheal...this poem is not from my point of view, it is from another persons point of view.

Amy, I used to be a jacka** just like this person. I'm so happy to be free of that mindset.
This is really nice work. I'm diggin' it.

The moon was bright overhead when I reembarked in the pinnace to return to my ship. A chill night breeze came whispering down from the depths of the valley, and suddenly the place was full of ghosts,-shadows of men alive and dead,- my own among them.
