Sometimes I guess it's just better to run
Without ever knwoing,
who I'm running from
But who ever heard of a person
who escaped their shadow?
Shadows creeping up,
waiting to pounce upon it's prey

Hope is a word
which no longer holds meaning
And love is word
that I am incapable of feeling
But maybe someday that'll change..
someday is more than a lifetime away

Now as the dim light shines above me,
and the darkness setting
as the cold, empty aroma sinks in my skin
I must have missed my turn somewhere...
damn those one way roads

This is so good Dark Enchantress,
It's not love which gets to you, it's the longing for love. Been down a few of those one ways myself.

Good read here. You can't run from the shadows though...there all around.I know I've tried.
