Somewhere in a dark,
hallowed area of my heart
A voice cries out
for comfort and redemption
But it is silenced by the thundering waves
Waves that bring me to my knees
and I am drowned out by my own evil

I like your style....you say so much in so little words....this one kinda lets the reader just wonder at the end, like what evil?
