(A challenge from DreamEvil)

Kissing The Lips Of Sweet Death

Kissing the lips of sweet death
I'm beyond all reasonable doubt
Soon, I will take my last breath
Seriously this life I've worn out
I look forward to ending this life
Never needing again to pretend
Gladly, putting it all to an end.

To taste death is thrilling me
Hate never ever felt so fine
Each moment simply divine

Laughing aloud for all to hear
I feel the madness within my head
Pressure inside is extremely severe
Shortly, this tired brain will be dead

Open my eyes, I look at the sky
Fearing not, that I will soon die

Secret Sanctuary here I come
Welcome me with open arms
Enchantment I will succumb
Entwined within your charms
'Tis I, who'll be your only one

Death, as I kiss your sweet lips
Encrust me with your rotted soil
As I surrender to this total eclipse
This has ended my hellish turmoil
Heavenly kissing the lips of sweet death

Soul-sib, I like this piece, your first in Dark. The varied stanzas give a jagged feel to it, like broken glass.

Dang girl. This was a dark one. I love the first 4 lines, that about sums up how I feel today! Good job!

Awesome!!!
Well done indeed, I didn't notice it was an acrostic until i read Dream's response!
Magnificent, I love acrostics, though I will say that it did a smothering job even before that was noticed!

Dear, Take My Hand

Darkness embrace me, my lover is dead
Earth make me a pillow, a place for my head
And sun, close your eye, sweet sky, shed your rain
Raise up your flowers, deeply scarlet for pain
Tear laden graveyard, my love is a part
And now take me too, where you have my heart
Keeper of millions, my soul cries to you
Embrace me and keep my love there ever new
My lips drink to you now, this sweet bitter kiss
Yes, no hope in living, or thing that I'll miss
Hoping to find love I flee to my grave
And bid my heart still now, be silent and brave
Now soul seek your mate out, to flesh say goodbye
Dying for her now, like you lived, and cried

Thanks. I re-wrote on line, as it wasn't originally an acrostic. It lost a little strength with the re-writing because of the ands. Glad you enjoyed it. You might want to check out my site. http://sites.netscape.net/larryfig/index.html Cheers.
