waves whisper secrets
silent white-capped passion plays
you and I the stars

here in this haven
with grey gulls circling
I taste your lifeblood

salty as my dreams
washed by this guardian sea
your blood on my tongue

I savor its essence
know full your tethered passion
desire its freedom

waves move in rhythms
our wild hearts beat in tandem
shall I set you free?

Shall I set you free.
This to me is beautiful and sad.
I like the way you put your words together.
