The silence cries out
as my minds eye
seeks out, my hearts desire.
Dark shadows illuminate
what my restless soul
cannot fathom, nor deny.
Contradiction is the slave
that soothes the wounds
of existential battles with,
metaphysical reality.
Enigmatic understanding
adds stability to sanity's
firm foundation, of sand.

JP, I love this one. I wish I had written it.

"Sanity's firm foundation of sand...." Aaahhh, the line that won me over...very very well thought out...nice little piece of work here. I really like your flow pattern in your thoughts.

"Enigmatic understanding"? Let me think on that for a while.

I like the rythym and feel of this one.

JennyLee, anytime you want to bring one of my poems up from the refuse of the past - consider me honored.

Thanks.

I seem to be going through a creative blight at the moment JennyLee - when I get the chance to sit down and write, there is nothing there.
