Her eyes, the blue of them unseen
as movement traces behind closed and
slumbering lids.  What might the sight
unseen be in the dark of night beyond
the moon’s escape into tomorrow?

Sleep, so vulnerable....yet, so aware and
waiting to hear the slightest sound off key.
Waltzing through an orchard of vintage grapes
upon a dew laden vine.

Come to me in dreams love, take lightly this
hand that will swirl and twirl, as lips shall
softly whisper of my heart’s desires..

The stir of a soft calf beneath lightest cotton,
ahhh yes, perhaps she knows our dance upon
the clover awaits...perhaps.   The lightest trace
of a finger’s tip upon a gentle curve, bringing
the chill of shivering but warming skin...as
an eye’s lid flutters and a smile is born upon
the beauty of her....

Morning shall come softly through the window,
finding the pillow of her rest, smelling the light
yet tantalizing scent of her....as a  soft shower pelts
waking skin...and her memory aches to know
what the deep of night brought to her.

This is one huge SIGH!!!
This is the romantic Barry ...oooh yesssss!!!
I am smiling big time!
And I'm starting to rambling and drool so I'll quietly take my leave.
Hugs YOU!

Your words capture magic and make it spill from the paper into my veins.  This is most beautiful.

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

Barry, I found this poem left me with a sense of serenity and mystery at the same time (if that makes any sense).  Enjoyed!
